Nabytki Muzeum Historii Kielc w 2022 r.

In 2022, the Museum of Kielce History added 210 inventory items (totalling 601 pieces) to its collections. Of these, 86 were included in the „History” inventory book, 10 in the „Art” inventory book, and 114 in auxiliary books. The library resource expanded with 249 new inventory items. The museum received several significant collections, including memorabilia from Teodor (January Uprising insurgent, merchant, and councillor) and Józef (regionalist) Kłodawski, Juliusz Potocki (former Kielce president), Jerzy Rosiński (composer and organist), Lieutenant Kazimierz Chyliński (aviator), Antoni Pacan (craftsman, worker at Huta Ludwików), Helena Naksianowicz (painter and set designer), Jadwiga Delegiewicz (teacher), and items from the Tokarski family. The majority comprises prints, documents, and photographs. Among the intriguing acquisitions are a wooden box crafted in the Holy Cross prison, butcher knives from Chęciny, seals from the pre-war Kielce city hall, two chairs from the Bent Furniture Factory „Kartel”, a chair, a drilling machine, and prosthetic workshop accessories from Stanisław Jaros. Additionally, the museum obtained a faience commemorative plate „IX Centuries of Kielce” from the Włocławek Pottery Works. The plate was designed by Jan Sowiński, a graphic artist and ceramist born in Kielce. The library holdings in 2022 expanded by 124 bound prints, 35 periodical issues, 16 catalogues, and 74 iconographic items.
