Nabytki Muzeum Historii Kielc w 2021 r.

In 2021, 449 inventory items (5,324 pieces) were added to the collec tion of the Kielce History Museum, of which 142 were entered into the ‚History’ inventory book, four into the ‚Art’ inventory book and 303 into the ‚Materials’ auxiliary book. The library stock was supplemented by 169 inventory items. In 2021, the museum received several significant collections, comprising dozens or even hundreds of exhibits. These include family heirlooms of Home Army unit commander Zbigniew „Wilk” Kruszelnicki; photographic archive of Ryszard Jakubowski; photographs found in the Kielce ghetto; occasional prints, bookplates and stamps of Home Army soldier, graphic artist and social activist Jan Dubaj; some items related to Ryszard Miernik - poet, prose writer, sculptor, regionalist, animator of cultural and literary life; posters from performances of the composer and organist Jerzy Rosiński, and mementoes of the Kielce „Iskra” factory. The collection documenting Kielce’s craft traditions was enriched last year by 43 carpentry tools. The museum also received objects connected with Kielce industry. It purchased an eleven-row horse-drawn seeder - an extremely rare product of the „Ludwików” steelworks in Kielce. The seed box of the seeder bears the SHL logo and the inscription: LUDWIGSHÜTTE A.G. KIELCE (the factory was under German administration during the occupation). The collection was also enriched by a cast-iron plaque commemorating the awarding of the name of Stanisław Staszic to FSS Polmo SHL in 1975. A cast-iron plate and a cooker door made at Zakład Mechaniczny i Odlewnia „Białogon” were acquired. Commemorative dishes with the logos of Kielce enterprises and commemorative medals and plaques were added to the collection. The art collection was enriched by a landscape painting and two glazed ceramic objects made by Czesław Łagowski.
